As part of the hotel’s art experience, Plaza Art Lounge is a recurring concept where different exhibitors are given space in the lounge. Through opening receptions and temporary exhibitions, an environment is created that evolves over time and offers new impressions each month.

About Josefin Häggkvist
Josefine Häggkvist, also known as JSFN, is a self-taught artist based in Västerås. She works primarily with acrylics, as well as graffiti art.
Her work often draws on words and expressions, interpreting them literally and transforming them into visual form..

About the exhibition
Josefin Häggkvist utställning ”Bokstavligt talat” visas i Plaza Art Lounge mellan 8 augusti – 3 september 2026.
Through playful use of language, expressions and compound words, familiar concepts are transformed into visual form. What is usually understood figuratively is given a literal interpretation. With humour and wordplay, the exhibition invites visitors to pause and see language in a new way.
